Question: Do I need to create an account or sign up?

Answer:

No. There are no accounts, sign–ins, or personal information required to view our courses.

Question: What format are the continuing education courses in?

Answer:

Our continuing education courses come in two formats. Most courses are in the popular “print-and-go” format. Based on the demand for the content from our presentations, we have begun to capture our presentations electronically and will increasingly offer recorded audio-video Powerpoint presentations.

Question: What if I have a question about the course or want more information?

Answer:

All of our authors are accessible and happy to communicate with you. On the bottom of each course page there is an “Email Us” link. Contact us, let us know how we can help you, and let us know the best way to reach you.

Question: Can I view a course before purchasing it?

Answer:

All courses, materials, and quizzes can be fully accessed before purchase. At SpeechPathologyCEUs.net, we see the importance of sharing relevant and recent research as paramount to the advancement of our field.

Question: How much do the courses cost?

Answer:

Each course is $15 per CEU. A .1 CEU course is $15, a .2 CEU course is $30, etc.

Question: How do I receive my CEUs after taking a course?

Answer:

Upon completion of a course and payment, your CEU is immediately emailed to you as a pdf. No hassles, no wait time.

Question: I took a course before but have lost the certificate, can I get another one?

Answer:

Yes, records are kept for three years. Contact us directly and provide the name of course, your name, and the approximate date that you took the course. We will produce a new CEU certificate for you and email it for free.

Question: Can I purchase multiple courses at a discount?

Answer:

Yes. 10 CEUs can be purchased at once for $100.00. SpeechPathologyCEUs.net is currently working on technology to allow you to be able to purchase all of your courses at a discount. We are working to make this process as seamless and hassle-free as the rest of site. Currently, we handle this process manually. Contact us at admin@bilinguistics.com and let us know that you would like to purchase the bulk courses. You will complete the transaction and then email the answers to the quizzes to show completion. PDF certificates of your CEUs will be emailed to you.

Question: I have a staff of many speech therapists. Can I purchase multiple courses for my staff?

Answer:

Yes. 10 CEUs can be purchased at once for $120.00. Contact us at admin@bilinguistics.com and let us know that you would like to purchase bulk courses for your staff. Instructions will be generated for you to share with your staff. They simply take a course and email us the quiz answers with your account information (e.g. Sally Smith, Setonal Group, Nashville TN). PDF certificates will be emailed within one week of completion.

Question: Can I suggest a topic for a course?

Answer:

Yes, our course content is driven by the current needs of our field and the feedback from SLPs just like you. For example, we receive many requests on information related to specific speech therapy goals or client needs. Click on the CONTACT US link at the top of the page and let us know what we can present to you. Please include your email so that we will be able to provide available resources on the topic and notify you when a course has been created.

Question: Why do the courses say .1 CEU and not 1 CEU?

Answer:

ASHA requires that 10 contact hours are gained each year. Each CEU is 1/10th (.1) of each year’s requirements.

Question: What is the difference between ASHA CEUs and other CEUs?

Answer:

ASHA Approved CE providers must meet stringent standards set by ASHA’s Continuing Education Board. Only activities offering ASHA CEUs can be posted on your Registry transcript. There are other types of CEUs and credits in the marketplace. However, ASHA does not regulate other types of credit. We advise you to contact your state licensing board to see what other types of credit are acceptable toward your licensure requirements. (ASHA.org)

Question: Will these Continuing Education Units be recognized in my state?

Answer:

All of our courses have been approved by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). If your state recognizes ASHA CEUs (which, to our knowledge, all of them do) then our courses can be used for maintenance of licensure.

Question: Do you do live presentations or present this information in person?

Answer:

Yes! We present annually at state and national conferences and workshops. Please see our WORKSHOPS page for events that might be in your area. We have presented nationally and internationally and can also tailor a presentation to meet your staff’s needs. www.bilinguistics.com

Question: What do I do if I have having technical problems with a course?

Answer:

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact us at admin@bilinguistics.com so that we can address the problem immediately.

Question: Why are some courses more than $15.00?

Answer:

Courses are $15.00 per continuing education unit (1 hour). Courses that are .2 CEUs are $30.00 (2 X 15), courses that are .3 CEUs are $45.00 (3 X 15), etc. The longer courses give you the opportunity to earn more CEUs at one time for the same great price.

Question: When I finish the quiz, I don’t see a FINISH button and don’t get sent to paypal, why not?

Answer:

Please make sure that your screen resolution is set to 100%. On some computers, when the screen resolution is smaller (75%), the buttons to REVIEW and FINISH do not appear.
